Miguel Ângelo Trio

The Miguel Ângelo Trio is a project that explores the possibilities of improvised music as an extension of the composition process, blending elements from various musical aesthetics to create new sounds and textures. Led by double bassist and composer Miguel Ângelo, the trio features Luís Ribeiro on guitar and Mário Costa on drums.

The repertoire consists of original compositions by Miguel Ângelo, serving as a foundation for improvisation. Combining creativity, spontaneity, and a deep musical connection, the trio crafts a sound with its own unique identity – strong, free, and uninhibited.
